Nationwide Construction

Authorized & Certified

Butler Builder

Not every contractor can build a Butler building. Nationwide is an authorized Butler Builder, which means something specific for your project.

What Is Butler Manufacturing?

Butler Manufacturing is the dominant maker of pre-engineered metal building systems in the United States. When most people picture a modern steel commercial building, the kind with clean lines, a durable roof, and solid wall panels, they're often picturing a Butler system.

Butler's structural frames, roof systems (including the flagship MR-24 standing seam roof), and wall panels are engineered to work together as one complete system. Not assembled from parts sourced from different manufacturers. That matters because when the whole system is engineered as one unit, there are fewer weak points and fewer surprises during and after construction.

What "Butler Builder" Actually Means

A Butler Builder is a contractor that has been trained, tested, and authorized by Butler Manufacturing to erect their building systems. It's not a logo you buy. It's a certification you earn.

As an authorized Butler Builder, Nationwide has exclusive access to Butler's systems and the training to install them correctly. Butler's quality standards apply to the entire job, not just the materials.

What It Means for Your Building

Faster Construction

Pre-engineered components arrive ready to erect. Less field fabrication, less time, less weather exposure.

Fewer Jobsite Surprises

Every component is designed to fit with every other component: no mix-and-match tolerances or field modifications.

Weather-Tight Performance

Butler's MR-24 standing seam roof is one of the most proven metal roofing systems in the industry. It's designed to hold up, not just at install but decade after decade.

Lower Long-Term Maintenance

Because the system is integrated and installed by certified builders, you get fewer warranty issues and lower maintenance costs over the life of the building.

The Nationwide Difference

Most Butler Builders are general contractors who source and erect Butler systems. Nationwide has something most don't: an in-house steel fabrication and welding shop.

That means we can manufacture structural steel components ourselves, including bar joists in roughly a third of the typical lead time, and combine that capability with certified Butler system erection. End-to-end steel control, from raw fabrication through finished building. That's genuinely rare.
