Midwest Fastener had six months to vacate its leased building and could not find a property anywhere in DFW. One builder quoted a year. Tony said it could be done, delivered a blueprint the next morning, and finished the building in five months, two weeks ahead of the deadline and within budget.

Beating the clock took stacking four to seven trades in the building at once and a soil program built for Mansfield's heavy clay: a nearly ten-foot excavation across the entire footprint, relayered with crushed rock and lime soil and compacted layer by layer. Years later there is not a crack in the foundation, and the building was designed to double from 40,000 to 80,000 sq ft when the company grows.
