DY Concrete Pumps
A 50,000+ sq ft paint and truck-mounting facility for DY Concrete Pumps in Alvarado, designed and delivered through the pandemic on budget and on schedule.
DY Concrete Pumps mounts Korean-designed concrete boom pumps on North American chassis, about 100 trucks a year with plans to double. The company needed 50,000+ sq ft with ceiling heights tall enough to raise booms indoors, plus paint, parts, and service operations under one roof, all designed flexibly enough to convert if the business ever shifted.
Design started before the pandemic and construction ran straight through it, including some of the worst supply-chain disruption on record. President Joe Delehay, who has built pre-engineered buildings his whole career, called it one of the easiest deals he has ever put together: budget kept, schedule kept, and another building already in mind.

From the Client
They provided a budget and stuck to the budget, provided a schedule and stuck to the schedule. I've built a lot of buildings in my life, and this is one of the easiest deals I've ever put together.
