The Ardex plant was one of the projects that put Nationwide's industrial credentials on display: a massive engineered-cements manufacturing facility with heavy automation, built over the course of a year in structural steel and pre-engineered systems. Its 136-foot tower is the tallest structure in Mansfield.
Marshall Seavers, then Ardex's project engineer and a contractor himself, negotiated a two-year extended warranty on the job. Tony told him it was unnecessary because he would take care of the building regardless, and then kept proving it long after the paper expired. Seavers has hired Nationwide for his own projects ever since.
